Sin City RulesThe world of poker is like a desperate actress who has traveled to Hollywood in the hope of finding fame and fortune. There have been numerous attempts to break through to the silver screen – most notably the 1998 success, Rounders – and 2012 is proving to be no different. In late March, All-In: The Poker Movie was released to the general public with mixed reviews. The movie, directed by Douglas Tirola, ran for 1 hour and 40-minutes and focused on the history of poker. But poker fans don’t seem to warm to poker movies very much: maybe a few documentaries instead? The creator of The Micros – Jay Rosenkrantz – and Cardrunners founder, Taylor Caby, have created a documentary following the evolution of online poker. Fittingly the story is called BOOM and the Busto to Robusto hero, Ryan Firpo, has produced the show. Will Rosenkrantz, et al finally achieve the TV breakthrough they obviously crave? The latest venture to hit the small screen is a show called Sin City Rules. The show is due for release in December and it follows the lives of five women as they try to carve out a living in the testosterone-filled world of Las Vegas. The show follows the lives of an entrepreneur daughter of an infamous mob boss, a cosmetics mogul, a gun-loving fashion designer, an entertainment reporter and our very own Jennifer Harman. The show comprises of eight one-hour episodes and promises to be a very interesting show indeed. same site. South African Players are welcome at EU Casino and they also accept rand Currency.
